Emergency Room #2 was remodeled as part of the
renovation and clinic addition completed in 2001.
The PACs system is viewed via the 40" LCD for patient
viewing and is also connected to cable for television
for patients while waiting. A grant is currently
in process in conjunction with the Montana Hospital
Association to connect via live videoconferene both ER
#1 and ER #2 to the tertiary facilities (St. Patricks
Hospital and Community Medical Center) in Missoula.
Hospitals in Plains, Superior and Phillipsburg will also
be joining in this pilot project. Additional
renovation is planned upon receipt of funds appropriated
through Senator Baucus later this year. Trauma
designation is currently underway.
